Print was invented in the 15th century in order to create multiple identical copies of books,
graphics and photographs etc.

General information about printing methods and other techniques:

graphic Letterpress printing-
The letters are being transferred to a paper by pressing the paper to the letters with the help of a roller or a press machine.

graphic Screen printing-
The graphics and other elements are being transferred according to the density of a net.
In our days the net is made out of synthetic fibers but in the past it was made out of silk.
The elements will not transfer where the net is blocked.This technique is suitable best for the
textile and fashion industry as well as cartonnage.

graphic Flexography -
printing, using flexible relief plates. Suitable for various types of food packaging and nylon bags.

graphic Intaglio-
Is an engraving technique in which the ink is placed inside incisions made onto a stone, copper or zinc plate. Through pressure, the ink transfers from the recesses of the plate to the paper.

graphic Offset-
This technique is based on the separation between water and oil. The ink used in this method is oil based.The digital graphics is being copied from the plate to a paper. Offset is being used mainly forbig productions of books, newspapers and magazines.

graphic Digital printing-
A fairly modern development from recent years. The method transfers directly the graphics from the computer to colour magnetize cylinder. The digital print is used for small quantities like banners and posters and can be printed on a variety of materials
